Terms of service
Plain-language terms for the free service. Last updated 1 October 2026. Agentu Plus adds the billing terms shown at purchase; Professional and Enterprise plans are covered by a separate agreement.
1. Who
These terms are between you and [Legal entity name], [registered address], [jurisdiction] ("Agentu"). By creating a memory or using the API you accept them.
2. The service
Agentu Memory stores encrypted memories on your behalf and makes them available to models and applications through keys you issue. The free personal plan is provided free of charge to individuals for personal use with one connected model. We may change or add features; we will not remove the core free features described on the pricing page without at least 90 days' notice.
3. Your key and your responsibilities
Your owner key is the only credential for your memory. You are responsible for keeping keys safe and for what anyone holding a key you issued does with it. We cannot recover a lost key; export is your backup. You must not use the service to store or process content that is unlawful, to attack the service or other users, or to circumvent limits (including automated signup beyond the one memory you use).
4. Your content
Your memories are yours. We claim no rights in them. You grant us only the technical permission needed to store, encrypt, transmit and process them as you instruct. We do not use memory content to train models or for advertising.
5. Connected models and apps
Models and applications you connect are provided by third parties under their own terms. What they receive is determined by the keys you give them; what they do with it is between you and them.
6. Availability and changes
The free service is provided "as is" without a guaranteed service level. We work to keep it available and to announce planned interruptions. We may suspend keys or memories that breach these terms or endanger the service, and will tell you why where we can.
7. Deletion
You can delete entries, categories or your whole memory at any time; deletion is by key destruction as described on the security page and is irreversible once the grace period ends. If we ever discontinue the free service we will give at least 90 days' notice so you can export.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Agentu is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a lost key, a key you gave to someone else, or a connected third-party model. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction]. Consumers keep the protections of the law of their country of residence. Disputes go to the courts of [jurisdiction] unless consumer law gives you another forum.
